Biography
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Bozkurt researches deal with conservation of fish gametes, reproductive biology of fish brood stock and also aquaculture of potential new species. He has authored a number of referred articles mainly on cryopreservation of fish gametes. His scientific activity in the field of aquaculture was internationally recognized and invited to editorial boards of international peer-review journals. Also, he supervised a number of international and national research projects. In addition, he has been involved Food and Agriculture Cost Action FA 1205.

Biography
Dr Nyan Taw received his Ph.D. from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He served as short term consultant for FAO and World Bank funded projects in Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. He was a technical counter-part for ADB and JICA projects to develop the fisheries sector in Myanmar from 1976 to 1987. In 1988, he joined the FAO of the UN and served in aquaculture projects in Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines culminating the position of CTA. From 1995, Dr Nyan served as Production Director at a number of locations in Indonesia. In 2002, he joined CP Indonesia, as VP where he initiated biofloc technology. Later he served as SVP for Dipasena Group, Indonesia. He served Blue Archipelago as GM and developed a biosecure, modular RAS system shrimp farm from 2009 to 2015 in Malaysia. He has provided consultancy for shrimp farming companies in South & Central America, Middle East and Asia He conducted Shrimp Biofloc Technology workshops for shrimp farmers in Malaysia, Australia, India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Thailand & Myanmar. He co-authored a chapter in the book by Avnimelech on Biofloc Technology (2012 & 14).

Biography
Prof. Suzan Kholeif is an oceanographer, marine geologist and ecologists. She holds a PhD in Marine Geology from Cairo University in 1999. Since 1994, she has been working as a Marine Geologist researcher, professor and consultant in National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF), Alexandria, Egypt. She is a published author & holds a strong track record of publications which include assessment of coastal waters, shore protection, climate and sea level changes as well as Environment Impact Assessment (EIA). She has gained skills in developing and managing both managerial and technical tasks, as is demonstrated through her work experience in the role of Director of Scientific Documentation and Media Unit at NIOF; Head of marine geology Lab and Director of NIOF, Mediterranean Branch, as well as across several national and international projects in the field of marine environment, Climate changes, Management of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Integrated Coastal Zone Management-ICZM, such as; " assess and predict changes in the Mediterranean and Black Seas ecosystems as part of the FP6 project “SESAME†(2007-2011) ); AQUAMED project (12/03/2010 -12/03/2014); Fisheries and aquaculture-Oriented Research “FORCE" (2011-2014); MEDINA “Marine Dynamic Indicators of North Africa “MEDINA†(2010-2014); Advisory Board member of current FP7 project "Fostering sustainability and uptake of research results through Networking activities in Black Sea & Mediterranean areas “IASON" (2013-214); People for Ecosystem Based Governance in Assessing Sustainable Development of Ocean and Coast “PEGASO†(2010-2013). She also acquired a solid reputation as expert and consultant in marine environment and climate change both at national and international level (eg, EU bodies, UNEP, SME companies, international environment protection organizations,..), especially in the water resources monitoring and planning in Mediterranean countries (particularly in Egypt and North Africa countries) in the last 10 years, by developing guidelines for sustainable use and innovation methodology for management of wild resources, focusing on ecological cycles of the aquatic resources in the Mediterranean.
