Aquaculture and Fisheries - Facts/Methods

Aquaculture means farming of aquatic organisms including fish, mollusks, and aquatic plants. It refers to breading, rearing and harvesting in all types of water environments. Fisheries refer to act of culturing, preserving, marketing, developing and managing the aquatic resource.
